The keys are a decent size but have little travel or positive feel, and the whole keyboard bows when you press down. So it really needs a flat surface to lay on to be usable, unlike most standard laptops. This doesn’t really work on the lap, though, as the lack of a rigid connector between the keyboard and the body means that the keyboard tends to tilt up and not stay in place. It lacks a MicroSD card slot like the other two Lenovo Chrome OS tablets, preventing users from expanding the storage. There is also no audio jack, although Lenovo mentions in the product manual that a USB-C to audio jack adapter is included in the box.The bottom half of the back panel also folds out to form a kickstand that allows you to set it on a table or desk. Impressive as the IdeaPad Chromebook Duet 3 is, it isn't perfect. Competing devices such as the ASUS Chromebook Detachable CM3 have a built-in stylus. There is also support for the new USI 2.0 standard, but owners will have to purchase a stylus separately. Other features are Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band Wi-Fi and stereo speakers. Lenovo even says users can hook up the tablet to two external monitors via USB-C. Users will also find the extra USB-C port on the left very useful as it will allow for plugging peripherals while charging via the other port. Nevertheless, this is still much faster than the Chromebook Duet, which supports 18W fast charging and ships with a 10W charger. It will also charge faster as it supports 45W fast wired charging, although Lenovo bundles the tablet with a 30W USB-C power adapter. Thankfully, the more prominent display has been backed up with a bigger 29Wh battery capacity which is advertised to last up to 12 hours on a single charge.
